Why does the first snow always catch me by surprise?
I wake up and there it is. All things brown and green have been turned to white. And I say, "What's this!?!"
I listened to the weather report. I knew it was coming. Maybe it's just an ongoing, deep denial of the inevitable.
While I react with resignation, my critters react with glee.

Check out this NickerNews video!

Hope you and your barnyard are having fun out there!
And remember, there are just 196 days 'til the beginning of summer!

That looks like fun!!

"In the language of the range, to say that somebody is "as smart as a cutting horse" is to say that he is smarter than a Philadelphia lawyer, smarter than a steel trap, smarter than a coyote, smarter than a Harvard graduate - all combined. There just can't be anything smarter than a smart cutting horse. He can do everything but talk Meskin - and he understands that." - Joe M. Evans, A Corral Full of Stories
