Summer Days: Fun and Action
By Maddy B. Gray
Is it just me?
Or does it help to map out plans for these fleeting summer months?
I find the summer is like my work day, if I don't schedule and write it down, my good intentions will slip away with the setting sun.
So...this summer, I plan on competing in a few versatility events and going camping in Acadia National Park with the horses.
Friends are coming from France and we'll spend time riding near home, too.
Then, in late summer, I'll be visiting Sable Island and
reporting on one of the last, truly wild herd of horses.
NickerNews wants to know what you're doing during our best season for riding.
According to the NickerNews Views survey, about half of you are doing several events. Fewer are sticking close to home and others are much more active.
We want to hear from you.

My goal is to ride every day -- hitting the trails and loving it.
Fun Shows and Gymkhana for me. Yippee!
Kathleen and Tibbett plan on taking weekly lessons together, lots and lots of trail riding, clinics and some camping trips. There's nothing better then spending time with my guy Tibbett!!
