Hello and Goodbye, Outfitters Supply

Welcome Outfitters Supply to our fantastic, growing group of advertising partners!

Since 1986, Outfitters Supply has been supplying horse packers and trail riders with just the right gear for their outings. The Columbia Falls, Montana, company helped me with a great option for saddle bags, including a cantle bag.

The company is renowned for fine customer service. Founded by lifelong horse owner, rider, and packer, Russ Barnett, it has been taking good care of customers and its nine employees for decades. It started with a mail-order catalog and opened a webstore in the 1990’s (back when websites were revolutionary).

“If you’ve been thinking about buying from Outfitters Supply, now is the time,” said Barnett. In November, 2021, they will close up shop and direct customers to their popular pages on Amazon. Take advantage of these next few months to deal with Outfitters Supply directly and take advantage of discounted lines.

The shop and storefront sit near Glacier National Park and the Bob Marshall Wilderness, two exquisite diamonds of the western wilderness. It’s time, said owner, Russ Barnett, to enjoy more of the backcountry and do some traveling.

With help from Outfitters’ employees, all the gear is rigorously field tested. Foster, for instance, grew up riding in 4H and rodeo. Now, she trail rides with friends. Owner Barnett has designed many of the products, testing them with his horses and mules in the Bob Marshall.
